NOT JUST ORANGES
In a city, there lived a mother with her five years old doughter. The mother was a charwoman (doing cleaning work) in a hospital. Her income was very small

. Therefore,they both lived a life of some hardship. But the mother brought a lot of goodies (good articles) from the hospital. She fed and dressed the properly. She gave her shoes also.

One day the mother and doughter went to a toy shop where the girl saw a beautiful blue ball. The mother bought the ball for the girl. The girl was very happy. One day the girl was playing in the courtyard. By chance the ball bounced so high that it fell into the window of the Malachovas,the neighbours. The ball hit the flower vase which was very costly. It was broken into pieces.

When Mrs. Malachov came to know about it, she flew into a rage. She shouted that they had been robbed. So the little girl was frightened. She hid herself in a shed.
When the girl’s mother came to know about it, she sighed and began to cry. The girl told her mother that she was very sorry. The mother knew that the girl did not do that knowingly.
When the mother and the girl went to the house of Mrs. Malachov, the lady was very angry at them. She behaved with the rudely and tried to pull the little girl’s plait. The mother and doughter told her that they would pay. Mr. Malachov also in the evening . Mrs. Malachov went to the charwoman’s house .
She gave the ball to the girl’s mother. She told her that she did not want their money. The mother quickly thrust two oranges forcibly in the hands of Mrs. Malachov. Mr. Malachov quietly walked up to the sleeping little girl. She put the oranges right next to the girl’s pillow
